Bug : Spider Troubles sidequest

I've followed the trail of silver spooderwebs, found the nest in the room with the magic circle and the objective updated to "Talk to Johkabal", so I went back to the spooder room where the trail started, and he wasn't there. Went back outside, spoke to him, and he's just like "speak to me where the trail ends". Went back to the magic circle room, he's not there. Tried going back to gather the out of the way spooderwebs, tried going further into the castle dungeons, tried restarting the game, nothing; he just stays outside the tunnels and tells you to speak to him in the magic circle room

Did you offer him the live moth? its one of the web pieces in the last room

Yes, he doesn't care; just tells me to speak to him where the webs meet in the magic circle room.. where he's not

I just had to gather the webs from the tunnels till i had the moth to give it to the NPC
