So, I made a mistake in the "Deconstruction" quest. You have to put argonite into a machine and it goes through and gives you a shard, or something like that. It took far too long and I placed a second piece into it. Well, this gave me one less piece of argonite than is required to complete the quest. I was stuck in there with no way to progress, so I exited to attempt it again, but now the quest giver is gone and it only says "requirements not met" When I click on the control room doors.

How can I reset this quest? Thanks, in advance.

You need to get new aragonit and put it in right room. There should be a way to go there again but I am not sure how so I will ask.

edit. To get inside you have to click on the console, not on the door.

Now when I click on the control room doors, all I get is a message that states "requirements not met" and there is no sign of the task giver.
