Drop rate (Bosses) + Gold

From what I heard, drop rates on bosses decreases as you level up. This makes no logical sense with the way the item system works. You can essentially upgrade items endlessly with a chance to fail and lose all upgrades.
Issues:
1.) Drop rate decreases as you level up
2.) Not enough ways to farm efficient gold.
So by the time you get enough items to merge and/or upgrade you will out level the boss and not get any drops and you will also not have enough gold to do much upgrading, it's too expensive.
And as a side note, there needs to be more ways to earn decent gold at all levels. According to the PoT wiki, there is a gold daily that unlocks later, that sounds awful. We should have methods to farm gold efficiently at all levels. 50-200 gold at a time isn't efficient. Or killing a rare spawn once per hour for 800 gold... We need tens of thousands of gold to upgrade / buy equipment, upwards of 100,000g+++, but we can only gain gold at like 2000 per hour or something. The game needs to put all these pieces together a little better.
