make one time pets gain xp .25 of normal one

I dont bother taking one time pet as they dont gain xp and feels like they do not progress.
Have the one time pet gain xp at a very low rate so at lease there is some feeling of progression when it levels up. Have it progress very slowly so they do not become overpowered but reward those players who stick with them for a long time.
Have pets evolve to more complex monster when they reach a certain level for more in depth gameplay
